Mirage: vanishing point 2, end

I’m rushing to post these pics before I crash for the night, so apologies for the stunted description. Here’s the second version of the first Mirage scarf, which will be on sale with the rest when my shop opens in a few days. The large half-kaleidoscope block pieced at the end to suggest Mirage as he fades from view. I changed a couple of things in this version, most notably quilting the kaleidoscope detail in six different graduated shades of blue to emphasize the fading effect, and quilting the main body of the scarf in a dark midnight to help unify the shades.
